Holistic dentistry aims to consider the teeth and jaws not only in isolation as a masticatory organ. The idea is to observe the patient as a whole, taking into account all the possible interactions. Special methods of examination are used to diagnose foci and interference fields. Materials are also checked and tested for compatibility and tolerance.
